Emma Campbell
BIOGRAPHY
Emma Campbell is a Toronto-born singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has spent the majority of her 23 years immersed in music. Raised in a creative household — her mother a songwriter and music educator, her father a visual artist — Emma developed a deep connection to the arts early on. Since receiving her degree in Popular Music Studies at the University of Western Ontario, Emma has been deeply involved in the Toronto music scene, performing at popular venues in the city including The Cameron House, The Rivoli, and The Drake Underground. Her most notable shows to date have been her opening performances on tour with Ken Yates in November of 2025, and an opening slot for NYC-based band LAUNDRY DAY in April of 2022. In the fall of 2023, Emma was selected by Folk Music Ontario to showcase at their conference as a part of the prestigious Developing Artist Program.
Drawing from both pop and folk influences, Emma’s music is largely inspired by artists such as Lizzy McAlpine, Jensen McRae, and Phoebe Bridgers. Her debut EP, Oh Emma, (produced by Michael Wojewoda) was released in 2022, and she is currently working on her debut album in collaboration with friend and producer Ben Heffernan.
“Campbell’s sound is ready for the radio, while also being imbued with a level of intimacy that will make you glad that you pressed the play button.”
